Wyangala to Canberra Bus Service - Use It or Lose It!

For the past few years, a trial bus route has been operating every Friday between Wyangala and Canberra, via Cowra.

Transport for NSW introduced the trial bus service to help residents attend medical or business appointments, go shopping, enjoy recreational activities and visit family and friends.

The trial is coming to an end in June 2023 and the message now from Transport for NSW is, use it or lose it!

After a strong local response in the early part of the trial, numbers have plateaued. For the bus service to be considered viable into the future, usage numbers need to increase.

Return tickets from Wyangala to Canberra are just $33.30 return or just $2.50 for a concession Red Ticket. There are stops in Civic, the Canberra train station, Canberra Hospital at Woden, and room for your shopping, luggage and prams.
