Stronger Communities Programme - Round 8

Expressions of interest are now open for Round 8 of the Stronger Communities Programme (SCP). Eligible community groups and organisations across the Central West are being invited to apply for the programme to fund local projects to build social and community connections.

Grants between $2,500 and $20,000 are available to apply for. Projects funded under Round 8 of the Programme will need to be completed by 31 December 2023.

Examples of projects which may be funded under the programme include:

• Fit-out of community centres including kitchen upgrades and equipment;
• Sporting facility upgrades including new scoreboards, bbq facilities, seating, new turf, new lights or fit-out of changerooms;
• Purchasing first aid equipment.
