Local businesses encouraged to register as suppliers

WaterNSW is encouraging local businesses to register as a supplier for the Wyangala Dam Wall Raising project. The local business register will be provided to the major construction contractors so they can demonstrate how they will maximise local business and employment opportunities as part of the tender process.

"This project is being deliberately designed to also provide support to businesses to help fill gaps they may have and grow their capacity to do more work," said Mayor of Cowra, Cr Bill West.

"With the current skills shortages across the Central NSW region it is important that businesses get involved. There are a huge variety of opportunities," said Cr West.
