Celebrating NAIDOC Week 2022 in Cowra

National NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia in the first week of July each year, to celebrate and recognise the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Join in the Cowra celebrations!
Sunday 3 July at 2pm - Roger Knox
- Live at the Cowra Civic Centre - tickets at cowraciviccentre.com
- This much loved and respected Aboriginal artist and Elder will perform a family concert as a special event to kick off NAIDOC Week.
- Tickets $10 for adults and $5 for concession/children.
Monday 4 July at 10am - Flag Raising and Peace Bell Ceremony
- Civic Square, Darling Street, Cowra
- Followed by refreshments at the Cowra Civic Centre. Celebrations will conclude by 10.45am to enable people to proceed to Squire Park to assemble for the NAIDOC Street March.
Monday 4 July at 10.45am - Cowra Information and Neighbourhood Centre NAIDOC March & Family Fun Day
- Meet at Squire Park for the Street March at 11am. March concludes at River Park, with stalls, Obstacool course, kids gift bags, workshops & BBQ lunch.
Friday 8 July at 7pm & Sunday 10 July at 3pm - Screening Wash My Soul in the River's Flow
Saturday 9 July at 3pm & Sunday 10 July at 5pm - Screening Bootlegger
