Nominations open for 2025 Cowra Australia Day Awards

Nominations are now being taken for the 2025 Cowra Australia Day Awards to recognise the outstanding contributions of local residents and community groups across the Cowra Shire.

There are so many people in Cowra and the surrounding areas that work tirelessly in volunteer roles to help enrich the lives of others, so please consider putting in a nomination. The Australia Day Awards are one way we can give recognition to their efforts and achievements.

Nominations are being taken for the following awards:

• Cowra Citizen of the Year(PDF, 220KB) or nominate online here.
• Cowra Young Citizen of the Year(PDF, 258KB) or nominate online here.
• Cowra Community Group of the Year(PDF, 268KB) or nominate online here.
• Dr Warren Whiley Memorial Award(PDF, 272KB) (for significant contributions to Arts, Culture and Citizenship) or nominate online here.

Nominating someone is as easy as filling out an application form and returning it to Cowra Council by 4:30pm Friday 29 November 2024. Nomination forms are available from Cowra Council’s Customer Service Centre in Kendal Street or online here.
